FAQs

How does remote BCBA supervision work in all 50 states?

Our remote BCBA supervision model allows trainees to participate from anywhere in the United States. The key is that the client services you are supporting are delivered through our Virginia-based ABA practice and provided to Virginia-based clients. In telehealth, services are generally considered rendered at the client’s physical location, which is why state licensure requirements usually track where the client is located, not where the provider is sitting.

Can I get 100% unrestricted hours for BCBA fieldwork without being an RBT?

Yes. This remote BCBA supervision program is designed for trainees who want all unrestricted hours without needing an RBT or technician role. Your BCBA fieldwork is built around unrestricted activities such as caregiver coaching preparation, program writing, data review, skill acquisition planning, assessment support, training materials, and other BCBA-level tasks tied to real families in need.

How do you meet the BACB supervised fieldwork requirements each month?

In our remote BCBA supervision program, we structure your month around BACB supervised fieldwork requirements, including consistent supervision contacts, observation elements, and documentation practices that align with fieldwork standards. Your supervision schedule is planned based on your monthly hour goal and supervision percentage requirements.

How are supervision contacts handled for remote BCBA supervision?

In this remote BCBA supervision program, supervision contacts are scheduled in a predictable monthly rhythm. You receive BCBA-only supervision meetings with clear agenda, feedback on your clinical work, and next-step assignments. The goal is simple: keep you compliant, supported, and progressing in unrestricted hours that build real competence.

How do you handle observation requirements in a remote supervision model?

Within our remote BCBA supervision model, observation is built into the program in a practical way and documented consistently. Your BCBA reviews your work in context and provides direct, behavior-specific feedback tied to your actual fieldwork activities. We also provide documentation support so your observation and supervision records stay clean and defensible.

What does a typical month of remote BCBA supervision look like?

In our remote BCBA supervision program, a typical month is structured, practical, and tied to real work from our Virginia-based ABA practice.

  • You would accrue your monthly BCBA fieldwork hours by completing guided unrestricted activities (planning, data review, caregiver coaching prep, skill acquisition programming, assessment support, and other BCBA-level tasks).

  • You would meet for BCBA-only supervision to review what was completed, strengthen clinical decision-making, and set clear next steps for the coming week.

  • You would work through real client scenarios together with your supervisor. Questions would come from specific clients in our practice, and the supervision meeting would walk through the situation step by step, clarify what to measure, consider likely functions, and build a practical plan for how to approach the situation with the caregiver.

  • Documentation would be kept audit-ready with consistent tracking and clear records aligned with BCBA fieldwork expectations.

The goal would be simple: hours would be earned through real problem-solving and real clinical decision-making, not just checking boxes.

What are the minimum BCBA fieldwork hours per month for standard vs concentrated fieldwork?

Minimums depend on the BACB fieldwork type you are accruing (standard vs concentrated) and the current BACB requirements. In this program, trainees typically plan for 40 to 130 (160 if sitting in 2027) hours per month based on availability, and we structure your supervision plan around your pace and the supervision percentage requirements.

How fast can I start after I apply for remote BCBA supervision?

If there is availability, onboarding can move quickly. After you apply, we schedule a short fit call, confirm your target start date and monthly pace, and then provide clear onboarding steps and a timeline for client assignment and your first supervision meeting.

How is pricing calculated for remote BCBA supervision?

Pricing for remote BCBA supervision is based on supervised time, not your total monthly fieldwork hours. Supervision is billed at $99 per supervised hour. For example, if you accrue 60 hours in a standard month, 5% supervision equals 3 supervised hours, which is $297 for that month. Your cost scales with supervised time.

Do you offer discounts or reduced-rate supervision spots?

Yes, when available. If you can comfortably pay the standard rate, it helps keep this model running and helps fund free ABA-based support for families in Virginia. If you are in a tight season financially, apply anyway and tell us. We reserve a limited number of reduced-rate spots when possible.

Will these hours count toward BCBA certification and state licensure?

Your hours are structured for BCBA certification fieldwork. If you are pursuing state licensure, we support clean documentation practices so your fieldwork records are organized and audit-ready. Since state rules vary, you should confirm any state-specific licensure requirements with your state board.
